If you've followed my blog for a while you'll know I've had my fair share of skin troubles.
I have tried lots of different products in the past but never too many masks.
I used to think masks dragged out a lot of the impurities from the depths of the skin bringing them to the surface.
A couple of months ago I decided to up my skincare routine so I watched a few youtube tutorials and read some blogs and reviews.
I wanted to know what other girls recommended, what affordable skincare products they said were worth the hype.
I saw that this Garnier Charcoal Mask came up a few times.
People saying they liked it so much they've re-purchased a couple of times. Always a good sign.
So I popped into superdrug not long after hearing these reviews and picked one up for myself.
After reading the back I realised there are a few different ways you can use this product. I like to use mine as a mask. I like to let it dry and really get the most out of it.
I loved the results I saw straight away. My skin looked brighter and more alive. It looked like it helped my skin calm down too.
I have been using it regular ever since.
I am still happy with my results.I wouldn't say it has fixed my skin troubles but I think it may have helped to re-texture my non-troubled skin. I like the fresh feel of my skin afterwards and I like how my makeup sits on my skin the next day.
I use my Garnier mask at least once a week - sometimes twice a week.
I use mine on evenings when I wash my hair. It makes it so much easier to wash the charcoal residue down the shower drain.
