Holiday Ready With Matalan

Matalan is one of my favourite places to shop for summer clothes. 

I love the frilly feminine designs and comfortable and affordable swimwear.

I thought I'd pick out some of my favourites today.

I love this scalloped lace -up swimsuit. I think the scalloped edge makes it look feminine and is an added extra from the typical white swimsuit.

I love this cute slogan T-shirt. Easy to just throw on if your strolling in the sun.

This cold shoulder top is so pretty. The print is so summery and the intricate lace on the top finishes it off perfectly.

This leopard maxi is so easy and chic to just pop on before heading out. Floaty and effortless.

This box top is easy to just slip on over a pair of cropped white jeans.

I do like an easy floral top. This top would go with a crop jean or a cute pair of short.

A lovely bright kaftan is easy, chic and comfortable for days in the sun.

This straw basket bag is so in right now, it looks so chic and perfect for days and evenings in the sun. I think the delicate handles finish it off perfectly.

At first glance I thought these shoes might be a little too chunky for me but after taking a second  look I'm thinking these lace up espadrilles would probably be perfect for evenings out, strolling and sightseeing. They are a platform heel so you are more evenly balanced - much more comfortable.

This floral bardot dress is so pretty. I love this print and colours. The tie around the waist adds another cute feature.

This tropical strappy bikini is very cute. I really like the trio strap. Extra support and different from  the typical bikini.

My Mum The Cake Baker

My Mum bakes the most delicious cakes and I had to write an appreciation post.

Here's a few pictures of her gorgeous creations.

My Mum made these delicious little cupcakes for my sisters baby shower back in May. My sister didn't know what she was having so of course they were pink and blue! 

She makes a cracking Victoria Sponge. Everyone absolutely loves it. I always want more than one slice!

Presentation is everything. Unfortunately, I broke this glass dome this weekend. Uh-oh!

My Mum is incredible at baking mouthwatering brownies too! They don't stay around for long. Yum!!

We are excited to bake a lot more!

What's New This Week

Good morning, keeping it short and sweet this morning!

This week I've been lucky enough to get my hands on these gorgeous new exciting products.

I can't wait to try these and review them! 

Firstly, I received these gorgeous skin goodies from Temple Spa. 

I'm a real skincare junkie and I can't wait to try these for my skin.

The packaging looks so expensive and I can't wait to try the products.

Confession, I have already had a little try of the eye gel. It feels so luxurious and creamy - I can't wait to open the rest and try.

Next I received these amazing Tangle Teezer products.

I am so excited to try these as I've never owned a Tangle Teezer and my hair can be quite a challenge. 

Love this little handy sized brush in collaboration with Pretty Little Thing. So cute.

What I've Eaten This Week

As promised, I am going to be doing more food posts.

I love food, cooking, baking and eating food. 

I also love watching people cook. I've often got a cooking program on in the background. There's something so therapeutic for me.

Anyways, On with the post.

Here's what I enjoyed this week!

From  March 3rd

Starting off with last Sunday - We took my Nan out for a Sunday roast as it was her birthday this week! Lovely! 

One of my favourite dishes -  I enjoyed meatballs, pasta and cheese this week. Yep - A hearty potion! Perfect for me! 

For pancake day we enjoyed Pizza and pancakes! (not at the same time, obviously) But they were both delicious. Sometimes I love the idea of pancake day but don't always enjoy the taste as much  but this year I loved it. I think the melted chocolate poured on top helped! 

Next we had an all American affair with mustard hot dogs! 

Followed by..  

Brownies, because there is never a bad time for brownies right? We had some eggs that needed to be used before the date so Brownies were the perfect excuse!

2019 Back To Blogging

Hi and welcome to 2019. (I can't  believe its February already and I'm late to the party in writing this blog post.. Sorry!)

I wanted to start this blog post with a fresh start vibe.

I have missed blogging - admittedly lost a little inspiration too. 

Now, with a change in my career - I am back and feeling more inspired than ever! 

This year I can't wait to be publishing regular posts. I am excited to extend my content showing and sharing so much more of my life. 

Whats new? I have the adventures with my Niece that I am excited to share with you all. She's 10 months old and is an absolute dream and I can't wait to document our journey together. Fashion and Instagram - tying the both together. I am excited to share more fashion posts. I am stepping up my Instagram game. So make sure your following!  Food. I am really looking forward to sharing more food posts.  I love photographing and writing about food... Also eating it all..  and a blog post is a perfect excuse to bake more!

GlamGlow and Face Halo

Last week I was lucky enough to win this fantastic skincare prize from GlamGlow UK and Face Halo. 

How incredible do these products look?!

I cannot wait to review these! 

I have really got into my skincare recently and I love trying new products. 

Charcoal seems to really help my skin. If you've followed my blog for a while you'll know I've talked openly about my struggle with bad acne throughout my life. I have invested in a charcoal masque recently and I have really seen the difference in my skin. I am so excited to try this new liquid Charcoal clarifying oil because I think this will just take my skincare routine to another level! 

I am also looking forward to trying my new Face Halo pads to take off my makeup. I love anything new and revolutionary in the skincare world. I am always looking for ways to save time but with good reliable results without cutting many corners and I think this little gems will be the answer to helping me with that.

I am looking forward to trying these products out and letting you know what I think!
